current Host version 3.22.047 (aka THost in some newsgroups)



Some of these codes will work with older host versions (3.0x, 3.1x, 3.2x), too. Please understand that the codes do their job with the host program. They aren't a Planets client function!!!

You should know that some of the standard Planets FCs will work both with the registered version of Planets and the shareware one. And some of them do their job with the registered version ONLY.

There are many add-ons out there with different FCs so prepare yourself for a list of many add-on-FCs, too. They will work ONLY if an add-on is switched to the host program. You'll find the FCs for the used add-ons (at SPACECRAFT PORTAL) beneath.

And there are a few other host programs out there (AHost, FHost, PHost etc.). Note: they will have their own FCs! These codes aren't listed in this file, yet.

VGA Planets 3.x standard Codes:
1st - Alchemy ship FCs
ald(ship FC)produce only Duranium: 3 supply units build 1 Duranium unit
alm(ship FC)produce only Molybdenum: 3 supply units build 1 Molybdenum unit
alt(ship FC)produce only Tritanium: 3 supply units build 1 Tritanium unit
NAL(ship FC)disable alchemy function on this ship
2nd - Alliance FCs
ee(x)(ship FC)set enemy race no. (x = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a, b)
ff(x)(ship FC)set alliance race no. (x = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a, b)
FF(x)(ship FC)set alliance race no. (x = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a, b) with sharing ship positions!!!
3rd - Battle FCs
ATT(planet FC)planet attacks all ships with fuel in the orbit. There are a few exceptions: fuelless ships, Super Star Destroyer, Fascist's and Rebel's ships (if set by the host)
nbr(ship FC)No boarding party. Privateer and Crystal ships doesn't board a ship if the ship mission is TOW (REGISTERED players ONLY!!!).
NTP(ship FC)a ship with this FC doesn't attack with its torpedo weapons and no fighters will start from this ship (if a carrier)!
NUK(planet FC)planet attacks all ships with fuel in the orbit. There are a few exceptions: Super Star Destroyer, Fascist's and Rebel's ships (if set by the host), fuelless Birdmen warships
4th - Beam transfer FCs
bdm(ship FC)ship will beam down all the money from its cargo room
bum(planet FC)planet beams up the money to all ships in the orbit
btf(ship FC)transfer fighters to all ships at the same position
btt(ship FC)transfer torpedos to all ships at the same position
btm(ship FC)transfer money to all ships at the same position
5th - General FCs
cln(ship FC)clone THIS ship (if it doesn't belong to your race) (REGISTERED players ONLY!!!)
gs(x)(ship FC)give ship to other race no. (x = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a, b) For success the race must have one clan on board.
HYP(ship FC)engage the HYPerdrive of a capable ship. The ship jumps 350 light years away
lfm(ship FC)loads minerals and supplies in the cargo room in order to build fighters. Will work ONLY with the Robots, Rebels and Colonies
mkt(ship FC)build torpedos in space. Money, minerals and supplies must be loaded manually before executing the FC! (REGISTERED players ONLY!!!)
6th - Glory device FCs
pop(ship FC)the Glory device will explode after movement when the ship has fuel. Any ship at the same position will take damage etc.
trg(ship FC)if a cloaked ship is detected the Glory device will explode after movement when the ship has fuel. Any ship at the same position will take damage etc.
7th - Minefield FCs (REGISTERED players ONLY!!!)
mdh(ship FC)ship will lay half of its torpedos as (web) mines
mdq(ship FC)ship will lay a quarter of its torpedos as (web) mines
md(x)(ship FC)ship will lay x times 10 torpedos as (web) mines
mi(x)(ship FC)ship will lay a minefield as a race no. x one (x = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a, b)
msc(ship FC)ship will scoop mines of an own minefield and store them as torpedos in its cargo room. Works ONLY if the ship mission is set to SWEEP MINEFIELDS
8th - Planet configuration FCs
con(planet FC)causes the host to send the current HConfig settings to the Planets Messenger
noc(planet FC)causes the host NOT to send the current HConfig settings to the Planets Messenger
9th - Starbase FCs
dmp(planet FC)the starbase will recycle all of its components in the storage room to minerals (REGISTERED players ONLY!!!)
PB(x)(planet FC)Priority build order! It will ONLY work if you have 20 and more priority build points. You can choose which of your starbases build a new starship first if the ship limit of 500 ships is reached

D(xx)(ship FC)to decrease the power of an Ion Storm you set this fcode, where xx is a 2 digit number. The xx number will be the number of force points you wish the Ion Storm's force to be decreased by (up to config maximum). This only will effect an Ion Storm that you are in. If you wish a single digit increase you need to use a 0 as the first x in the fcode - this process requires empty fuel space on your ship
H(xx)(ship FC)to re-navigate an Ion Storm, you must be in a storm and have a heading. Then you set the fcode to Hxx, where xx is the ID# of the storm you are in and trying to re-navigate. This will cause the Ion Storm to have a heading that closely matches that of the ship
GIS(ship FC)use this fcode on a ship to Generate an Ion Storm
ISF(planet FC)cause the construction of a Graviton Pulse Generator and to installation of the device you select the target ship with the FIX mission of the starbase
I(xx)(ship FC)to increase the power of an Ion Storm you set this fcode, where xx is a 2 digit number.
